Yael, an Australian living in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone attended NIDA. Since her early years, Yael has been lucky to be able to collaborate with Australia's premiere storytellers, luminaries of theatre and visionaries who work working behind the scenes of film, television and theatre. Yael is a hugely successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was able to find a new location within New York City when the production was acclaimed in the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael founded The Cannery with her co-founders. It is located in a Bushwick Brooklyn studio, they support new creative writings and encourage innovative concepts.
