Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was 24 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was accepted as a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. The student received a stipend and did part-time jobs in order to make ends meet. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy about her performances compared to her fellow students. Then she began to consider other options. Lennox began her career in 1976 as a musician with the group Dragons Playground. They did not be able to make it onto the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. She was the voice from The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. This is where she first came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox later began working on her debut solo album Diva that was out in the year 1992. It had a tremendous hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo release was released in November 2014. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs her favorite blues, soul and jazz tracks from her early years. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera an album of four piano tracks that she improvised. The E.P. The E.P. is a complement to an art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you go... It is her first album released independently. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is an activist artist, singer and philanthropist hailing native to Scotland. In the latter half of the 1970s, she gained a little fame when part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition as Eurythmics. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992, with the release of her debut album Diva featuring many hits like the song"Why" as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio has version covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale.
