Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. Lennox survived off a student allowance, and part-time employment for a way to increase her earnings. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of other Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative routes she could choose. Lennox performed flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. She left the band just before their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's talent show New Faces. She was the main vocalist from The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. The band was where she first got to know Dave Stewart with whom she joined The pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work on her debut solo album Diva in 1992. It was a massive record both in terms of commercial and critical. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz tunes. Lepidoptera is a collection of four original tracks for piano, which Lennox dropped in May 2019. The E.P. It is also a companion to her Now I Let it go... artwork, which was displayed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954 in Scotland is a philanthropist and an activist in the political arena. She sings as well. She had a small amount of achievements as a member of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s, she along with fellow singer Dave Stewart went on to gain international recognition as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s.
