eryl therothery, a native of Canada, is an actress who is famous for her portrayal of her character, Dr. Janet Fraiser, in Stargate SG-1. Other memorable TV roles for Rothery include Lt. Maggie Weston from Exosquad M.O.M. as Martin Mystery Carol Bloom in Kyle XY Grace Sherman in Cedar Cove and J.L. The Good Doctor. She has appeared in movies like Magic in the Water Whisper in the film The Good Doctor, as well as What an Idiot. Rothery is a British Columbia native who has always had a passion for performing. She began her professional career performing on stage at thirteen years old, appearing as an actor for the stage musical Bye Bye Birdie. In recognition of her role in her theatre company's production of Annie Get Your Gun she won the Most Outstanding Performer Award.
